輔音+元音：連讀

前一個單詞的結(jié)尾是輔音、后一個單詞開頭是原因，可以連讀（不是必須連讀）

Stand?up.

Not?at?all.

Put?it?on, please.

Please pick?it?up.

I'm?an?English boy.

Let me have?a look?at?it.

Ms Black worked in?an?office.

I called you half?an?hour?ago.

輔音+輔音：失爆

前面一個單詞結(jié)尾是爆破音，后面一個單詞開頭是輔音：爆破音只擺口型不發(fā)音（注意不是省略）。三對爆破音：/p/和/b/、 /t/和/d/、/k/和/g/

Big boy

Sharp pencil

What time

You must pay.

Ask Bob to sit behind me.

She took good care of the children.

元音+元音：增音

元音的發(fā)音是比較飽滿的，嘴型一般比較大，當前面一個單詞結(jié)尾和后面一個單詞開頭都是元音的時候，嘴型就比較難以變換，這時候在兩個元音之間加以上一個輔音以輔助這種嘴型的轉(zhuǎn)換，使得發(fā)音更加流暢，就是增音。

1）詞尾元音/?,u:/+詞首元音，在詞尾加上一個輕微的/w/。如：

Go w away.

How w and why did you come here?

The question is too w easy for him to answer.

2）詞尾元音/?,i:/+詞首元音，在詞尾加上一個輕微的/j/。如：

I j am Chinese.

She can't carry j it.

I j also need the j other one.

He j is very friendly to me.

She wants to study j English.

It'll take you three j hours to walk there.

上述規(guī)則，是最最基本的三個口語規(guī)則，熟練掌握后，再去研究不完全爆破、同化、省音等規(guī)則。
