大家都知道穿鞋是put on/wear the shoes,但脫鞋可不是put off the shoes,而是用take off the shoes表示。 當(dāng)然還有一些特別的脫法,slip the shoes表示take off the shoes quickly or gently,輕輕地脫鞋;而kick off the shoes意思是踢掉鞋子。 in one's shoes可不是穿... 常用的搭配有be in one's shoes和put yourself in one's shoes。 還有一個(gè)口語(yǔ)表達(dá)if I were in your shoes = If I were you...,意思是如果我是你...。 If I were in your shoes, I would never tell him about that. What would you do? Just put yourself in my shoes. fill是填滿、裝滿的意思,實(shí)際上fill one's shoes/boots可以理解為replace one in some role/take over for one in some position。 也可以用step into one's shoes表示。 You do so much for the company that I don't see how anyone could fill your shoes. if the shoe fits (, wear it)是一個(gè)美式英語(yǔ),在英式英語(yǔ)中是if the caps fits。鞋子合腳就穿上吧,可以理解為tell someone that you think a criticism of them is true。 I know you don't like being called unreliable, but if the shoes fits, wear it. I may seem confident when I'm leading a training seminar, but I'm really shaking in my shoes most of the time. the shoe is on the other foot直譯是鞋在另一個(gè)腳上,實(shí)際意思是立場(chǎng)/局面/情況完全相反。 I can see that you don't like being told what to do, but now the shoe is on the other foot!
