一、補(bǔ)全對(duì)話題的特點(diǎn): 補(bǔ)全對(duì)話題也叫閱讀理解會(huì)話題,1996-2000年作為NMET閱讀理解題的B節(jié)出現(xiàn)在全國(guó)高考試題中。2001年NMET增加聽力試題,取消了語(yǔ)音知識(shí)和補(bǔ)全對(duì)話的考查。2005年陜西省采取不含聽力的NMET試卷,補(bǔ)全對(duì)話題又回到試卷中。該試題主要考查學(xué)生運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言進(jìn)行實(shí)際交際的能力,試題由一段留有五個(gè)空的對(duì)話和七個(gè)答案項(xiàng)構(gòu)成。其特點(diǎn)是要求考生通過閱讀對(duì)話并根據(jù)對(duì)話的主要內(nèi)容,在所提供的七個(gè)選項(xiàng)中選出五個(gè)答案將上面所給的對(duì)話補(bǔ)充完整,所以又叫“七選五”。 二、解答補(bǔ)全對(duì)話題的注意事項(xiàng): 1.通讀對(duì)話,確定話題功能 英語(yǔ)中的所有對(duì)話都是日常交際功能的體現(xiàn)。日常交際又可以分為66個(gè)不同的意念功能和24個(gè)話題,如問候,介紹,購(gòu)物,打電話,看病等等。在解答這一題型時(shí)首先要清楚該對(duì)話的功能話題,然后根據(jù)不同話題的要求,確定答案范圍; 2.理解試題的內(nèi)容 在確定了對(duì)話的話題后,就要進(jìn)一步理解對(duì)話的內(nèi)容,確定對(duì)話雙方的身份,對(duì)話發(fā)生的地點(diǎn),場(chǎng)合,把握對(duì)話內(nèi)容的語(yǔ)境; 3.個(gè)別推敲,遴選答案 這一步要求考生根據(jù)以上兩步所做的判斷,結(jié)合每個(gè)答案的上下文語(yǔ)境,選出合乎對(duì)話主人公身份和談話內(nèi)容的正確選項(xiàng); 4.自下而上,逆向推理 一般考生在做題時(shí)都是采取自上而下的順序,也就是閱讀中的top-down 方法,有些考生在通讀完整個(gè)對(duì)話后仍然對(duì)對(duì)話內(nèi)容沒有把握,這時(shí)可以采取自下而上的推理方法,即 bottom-up 逆推法,先看看對(duì)話是怎么結(jié)尾的,推理出上文的對(duì)話內(nèi)容; 5.復(fù)讀對(duì)話,驗(yàn)證答案 最后要求考生再通讀整篇對(duì)話,驗(yàn)證對(duì)話是否通順、流暢,確定答案。
三、強(qiáng)化訓(xùn)練: 根據(jù)對(duì)話內(nèi)容,從每組對(duì)話后的選項(xiàng)中選出能填人空白處的最佳選項(xiàng)。選項(xiàng)中有兩項(xiàng)為多余選項(xiàng)。
