第七章 連詞

【名師導讀】

第一步學習目標：掌握連詞的基本用法，記住常見的連詞短語。

中考試題中有關連詞的考點，主要是同類連詞的用法辨析、不同連詞意義的比較、連詞在祈使句中的運用、連詞短語的用法等。通常出現(xiàn)在單項選擇題、同義句轉換等題型中。

【考點一】并列連詞的用法

and: 和，表示并列關系

but: 但是，表示轉折關系（無逗號）

however 然而，表轉折關系（有逗號）

so: 因此，表示結果

or: 或者，否則，表示選擇關系，也可表示轉折

例如：(1) My father bought me a present, and I like it very much. 爸爸給我買了一件禮物，我非常喜歡。

(2) I can swim now, but I couldn’t swim at all at the age of ten. 我現(xiàn)在會游泳，但我五歲時我不會。

(3) Hurry up, or we’ll be late for class.　快點，否則我們上課就遲到了。

【注意】

(1) because與so不能同時出現(xiàn)在同一個句子中。

(2) though/although與but也不能同時出現(xiàn)在同一個句子中。

【考點二】常用連詞詞組辨析

1. both …and …  …和…都…，既…又…，表肯定，連接兩個主語時用復數。

not only …but also… 　不但…而且…，表肯定，連接兩個主語時用就近原則。

either …or …  或者…或者…，表兩者之一，表肯定，連接兩個主語時用就近原則。

neither …nor … 既不…也不…，兩者都不，表否定，連接兩個主語時用就近原則。

例如：(1) Both Lucy and Lily are students. 露西和莉莉都是學生。

(2) Not only Lucy but also Lily is a student. 不但露西而且莉莉都是學生。

(3) Neither Lucy nor Lily is a student. 露西和莉莉都不是學生。

(4) Either Lucy or Lily can go with you, because one of them must help his mother do housework. 要么露西和你去，要么莉莉和你去，因為她們中必須有一個要幫助媽媽做家務。

2. not …until…  直到…才…

例如：昨晚直到她回來我才睡覺。

I didn’t go to bed until she came back last night. 

=I went to bed after she came back last night. 

=I didn’t go to bed before she came back.
