Olympic Image

　　The core essence of the Olympic Games as it is found in the thoughts and emotions of people around the world. The core brand or message of the Olympic Games, stemming from elements that are either visual or verbal or both (e.g., a word, a mark, a symbol, a design, a term, or a combination of these) that communicate the identity and the image of the Olympic Games and the Olympic athletes, and that convey a set of expectations of and associations with the Olympic Games and the Olympic athletes.

　　奧林匹克標(biāo)志是指用單獨(dú)使用的單色或多種顏色的奧林匹克五環(huán)。這一五環(huán)套接的圖案標(biāo)志經(jīng)國(guó)際奧委會(huì)商標(biāo)注冊(cè)，屬國(guó)際奧委會(huì)財(cái)產(chǎn)，象征著奧林匹克運(yùn)動(dòng)和奧運(yùn)會(huì)。正式的圖樣設(shè)計(jì)現(xiàn)存放在國(guó)際奧委會(huì)總部。奧林匹克標(biāo)志代表五大洲的團(tuán)結(jié)和來(lái)自世界各地的運(yùn)動(dòng)員在奧運(yùn)會(huì)上的相聚。奧林匹克標(biāo)志的所有權(quán)屬國(guó)際奧委會(huì)專有。

Olympic Symbol

　　The five Olympic rings used alone, in one or in several colours. The emblem of five interlocking rings that represents the Olympic Movement and the Olympic Games, which is the trademarked property of the IOC. The official design as deposited at the IOC headquarters. The Olympic symbol represents the union of the five continents and the meeting of athletes from throughout the world at the Olympic Games. All rights to the Olympic symbol belong exclusively to the IOC.

　　奧林匹克會(huì)歌系指國(guó)際奧委會(huì)在1958年于東京舉行的第55次全會(huì)上批準(zhǔn)的會(huì)歌。其樂(lè)譜現(xiàn)存放于國(guó)際奧委會(huì)總部。

Olympic Anthem

　　That Anthem approved by the IOC at its 55th Session in 1958 in Tokyo, the core of which has been deposited at the IOC headquarters.

奧運(yùn)格言
奧林匹克格言 “更快、更高、更強(qiáng)”，是國(guó)際奧委會(huì)傳遞給所有參與奧林匹克運(yùn)動(dòng)的人員的信息，鼓勵(lì)他們發(fā)揮奧林匹克精神，奮發(fā)圖強(qiáng)、不斷進(jìn)取。

Olympic Motto

　　“Citius. Altius. Fortius.” Often translated as “Swifter, Higher, Stronger,” the Olympic motto expresses the message which the IOC addresses to all who belong to the Olympic Movement, inviting them to excel in accordance with the Olympic spirit.

火炬接力
火炬接力部門(mén)負(fù)責(zé)設(shè)計(jì)和組織奧林匹克圣火從希臘的奧林匹亞到奧運(yùn)會(huì)舉辦國(guó)，以及環(huán)繞國(guó)內(nèi)，最后抵達(dá)奧林匹克體育場(chǎng)的火炬?zhèn)鬟f路線和相關(guān)活動(dòng)。組委會(huì)可以成立專門(mén)部門(mén)。
