這三個動詞可表示“注定”、“必定”的意思。

destine  側(cè)重指“命中注定”，常用結(jié)構(gòu)是：be destined for sth.

                                   be destined to do sth.

1) I’ll never regret what I have done. Perhaps it was destined for my repeated failures.

            （我永遠(yuǎn)不會后悔我所做的一切。也許命中注定”這是我要一再失敗。）

2) Being blind and deaf, Helen Keller seemed destined to spend her life in misery, but she was never

    reconciled to the fate.

           （海倫·凱勒失明耳聾,她好像命中注定一生痛苦,但她從不甘心命運(yùn)。）

doom  多指遭到不幸的結(jié)果。常用結(jié)構(gòu)是： be doomed to sth. 

                                                                      be doomed to do sth.

 1) From the start, his plan was doomed to failure / to fail.

           （從一開始,他的計劃就注定要失敗。）

        2) If effective measures are not to be taken, this species of bird is doomed to extinction/ to become

          extinct.

            （如果不采取有效措施，這類鳥類注定要滅絕。）

bound      bind的過去分詞，用于常用be bound to do sth. 表示“一定會”、“必定”的意思。

        1) The financial problems are getting worse and they are bound to deepen the eventual collapse of the company.

           （經(jīng)濟(jì)問題越來越糟,它們必定會加快公司最終的崩毀。）

    2）We are confident that our team is bound to win the champion of the league matches.

            （我們堅信我們的球隊一定會贏得聯(lián)賽比賽的冠軍。）
