very, much 與 very much的區(qū)別
He was very angry at losing it. He has behaved very badly to you. He is not handsome, but is very pleasant looking. He believes very strongly in female emancipation. 【注】修飾副詞 too(太),要用 much: It is much too expensive. 90 miles an hour is much too fast. 二、副詞much 主要修飾動(dòng)詞,而且除非其前有very, too, so 等修飾語(yǔ),它只用于否定句和疑問(wèn)句: She doesn’t like him much. Does she much like him? / Does she like him much? She likes him very much. We much appreciate your invitation. He is much better today. This is much the most difficult. Much to my surprise, he was a thief. 【注】very 有時(shí)也可修飾最高級(jí) (注意在句中的位置): This is the very lowest price. 但修飾轉(zhuǎn)化成形容詞的分詞,或形容詞性較強(qiáng)的分詞 (如分詞作定語(yǔ)時(shí)),則可用 very: I was much surprised at the news. Her face wore a very surprised expression. 五、very much 是 much 的強(qiáng)調(diào)說(shuō)法,從理論上說(shuō),可用 much 的地方,原則上也可用very much。 |
