弱讀：or
對(duì)話中：I'm sorry I haven't called or anything.
失爆分析：當(dāng)兩個(gè)單詞相鄰時(shí)，前一個(gè)單詞詞尾是爆破音，后一個(gè)單詞開頭也是爆破音的時(shí)候，這時(shí)前面的爆破音可以不用發(fā)音，直接省去。比如這里的haven't called /?h?vntk??ld/ (/t/為爆破音，/k/為爆破音)。所以可以讀為/?h?vnk??ld/。
弱讀分析：在句子中，意思相對(duì)不重要的單詞，可以進(jìn)行弱讀，這樣發(fā)音的時(shí)候會(huì)比較省力，比如連詞可以進(jìn)行弱讀。像這里的or /??r/, 可以弱讀為/?r/，/?/發(fā)音時(shí)舌頭自然放松放平在口腔。

Well, we're gonna looking four words now. The first one "prevent".

Let's look at our next word "blaze".

2. blaze /ble?z/ n. 大火
So this noun is another word for fire. For a big fire. A really big fire.
所以這個(gè)名詞是火的另一個(gè)詞。意思是一場(chǎng)大火。一場(chǎng)很大的火。
So basically it's like the flame of the fire. So I think we can use some examples to show us how to use this word.
基本上就像火焰一樣。所以我想我們可以用一些例子來(lái)演示如何使用這個(gè)單詞。

The blaze is spreading quickly. We need to evacuate these people.

"Conceive" is a nice, fancy word. And what does it mean?
“conceive”是一個(gè)很好，很華麗的詞。那是什么意思呢?
It means to create.
它的意思是創(chuàng)造。
You can conceive a baby.
你可以懷一個(gè)寶寶。
You can conceive an idea.
你可以設(shè)想一個(gè)想法。
So it basically means to create, most commonly with the baby.
它的意思是創(chuàng)造，這個(gè)單詞最常見的是后面跟“孩子”。
OK, and our last word "accurate".
好的，我們的最后一個(gè)單詞"accurate"。
3. accurate /??kj?r?t/ adj. 準(zhǔn)確的
So when something is accurate, it's absolutely certain, absolutely precise.
所以當(dāng)一件事是精確的，它是絕對(duì)確定的，絕對(duì)精確。
OK, let's listen to some more examples of how we can use "accurate".

Well, I've got three phrases for you.

The first one is "the middle of nowhere".

1. the middle of nowhere 荒無(wú)人煙的地方
I think if we listen to some examples, it will help us to understand the meaning of this phrase.

We are in the middle of nowhere. How can we find our way back home?

2. first thing in the morning 明天早上第一件事
So when we talk about the first thing, it means really, really early in the morning.

So I can change it a little bit and say, first thing in the afternoon, early in the afternoon, or first thing tomorrow morning.
