And today I'm bringing you part four of our romantic series called I'm Sorry, I Love You.
今天，我為你帶來了我們的浪漫系列“對不起，我愛你”的第四部分。

We're gonna learn some phrases we can use to describe a mistake.
我們要學(xué)習一些可以用來描述錯誤的短語。

And we're also going to learn how we can comfort someone, we can make them feel better.
我們還將學(xué)習如何安慰他人，讓他們感覺更好。

Okay, so, let's listen to our dialogue.
好的，我們來聽一下對話。

A: ... so, I said, "let's take a break." And since that night, I've been waiting for him to call, but I still haven't heard from him. You don't think he's seeing someone else, do you?
所以我就說，“我們分手吧?！?自從那天晚上，我就一直在等你的電話，但我還是沒有接到他的電話。我想和不會是在和其他人約會，是嗎？

B: Come on, don't be so dramatic! I'm sure everything is going to work out just fine.
拜托，別想的太戲劇性！我相信所有事情都會進展順利的，沒事的。

A: You think so? Oh, no! How can he do this to me? I'm sure he's cheating on me! Why else wouldn't he call?
你這么認為嗎？噢，不，他怎么可以能這樣對我？他一定是背叛了我！還有什么原因讓他沒打電話呢？

B: But, you two are on a break. Theoretically he can do whatever he likes.
但是，你們倆現(xiàn)在分手了，理論上他可以做任何他喜歡的事。

A: He's the love of my life! I've really messed this up.

B: Come on, hon. Pull yourself together. It's going to be alright.

A: But I... I still love him! And it's all my fault! I can't believe how immature and selfish I was being. I mean, he is a firefighter, it's not like he can just leave someone in a burning building and meet me for dinner. I've totally messed this up!
但我...... 我還愛著他！這是我的錯！我不敢相信我是多么的幼稚和自私。我的意思是，他是個消防員，他是不可能丟下受困在火災(zāi)里的人而來跟我吃晚飯的。我是徹底搞砸了。

B: You know what, Ronica, I think you should make the first step. I'm sure he'll forgive you...
你知道嗎，Rronica，我想你應(yīng)該走出第一步。他一定會原諒你的。

A: No, this is not gonna happen! I... I've ruined everything....
不，他不會原諒我的！我...... 我毀了一切！

B: Hey... do you hear something? Guess what? It's your lovely firefighter!
嘿...... 你有聽到什么么？猜猜看？是你最愛的消防員！

C: When I had you, I treated you bad and wrong dear. And since, since you went away, don't you know I sit around with my head hanging down and I wonder who's loving you.
當你在我身邊時候，我對你不夠好，我錯了親愛的。自從...... 自從你離開我，你不知道我垂頭喪氣在那坐著，我想我還是愛著你。

「重要發(fā)音技巧」

Welcome back. Let's look at some useful pronunciation tips.
歡迎回來。我們來看一些實用的發(fā)音技巧。

1. 弱讀：for, to
對話中：I've been waiting for him to call.

弱讀分析：在句子中，意思相對不重要的單詞，可以進行弱讀，這樣發(fā)音的時候會比較省力，比如介詞可以進行弱讀。句中的for/f??r/, 可以弱讀為/f?r/，/?/發(fā)音時舌頭自然放松放平在口腔。to/tu?/可以弱讀為/t?/。

復(fù)述：I've been waiting for him to call.

2. 連讀+Flap T+失爆：but I，haven't heard，heard from
對話中：But I still haven't heard from him.

連讀分析：當兩個單詞相鄰時，前一個單詞詞尾是輔音，后一個單詞開頭是元音的時候，可以作輔元連讀。比如這里的but I /b?ta?/ (/t/是輔音，/a?/是元音)。

Flap T分析：連讀基礎(chǔ)之上，/t/在兩個元音音標之間且非重讀，所以/t/可以讀為一個很輕的/d/, 可以讀為/b?da?/。

失爆分析：當兩個單詞相鄰時，前一個單詞詞尾是爆破音，后一個單詞開頭是輔音的時候，這時前面的爆破音不發(fā)出聲音，稍作停頓。比如這里的 haven't heard /?h?vnth??rd/ (/t/為爆破音，/h/為輔音)，heard from /h??rdfrɑ?m/ (/t/為爆破音，/f/為輔音)。

復(fù)述：But I still haven't heard from him.??

「核心單詞掌握」

Alright, let's take a look at some interesting words in our dialogue.
好的，讓我們來看看我們對話中有趣的單詞。
So, our first word - immature.
所以，第一個單詞—— imature。

1. immature /??m??t??r/ adj. (行為)不成熟的，幼稚的
If you describe someone as immature, which means they behave in a childish way.
如果你描述一個人是immature，意思就是說他們表現(xiàn)地很孩子氣，很幼稚。
例如：
immature behavior
不成熟的行為

Now, let's take a look at our next word – selfish.
現(xiàn)在，讓我們來看看下一個單詞——selfish。

2. selfish /?self??/ adj.自私的
So, a selfish person is a person, who only thinks about themselves.
所以，一個自私的人是一個只考慮自己的人。

那我們剛才有講到"immature behavior", 是指不成熟的行為，那也有"selfish behavior"，也就是自私的行為，這兩種行為都是不好的行為，所以我們可以說：
Don't be so immature.
不要那么幼稚。
Don't be so selfish.
不要那么自私。

Okay, our last word for today - ruin.
好的，我們今天最后一個單詞 —— ruin。

3. ruin /?ru??n/ v. 毀壞
To ruin something means to destroy or spoil something.
毀壞某物就是指破壞，搞壞某物。
例如：
Bad news ruins your day.
壞消息毀了你的一天。

在dialogue里面Ronica說：
I've ruined everything.
我毀了一切。
這一句表達是很常見的，尤其是在表示自責的時候，可以用到這一句。

「實用口語表達」

Okay, let's take a look at some of the phrases they used in the dialogue.

好的，讓我們來看看對話中她們使用的一些短語。
The first phrase we have - cheat on.
我們第一個短語 —— cheat on。

1. cheat on 出軌
cheat on someone
背著某人出軌
So, cheating on someone are like breaking a promise by having a relationship with someone else, who's not your boyfriend or your husband, or your girlfriend or your wife.
所以，"cheating on someone" 就是表示你打破了你對另一半做出的承諾，和別人在一起。

But if I say "She cheated me",
但如果我說“她欺騙了我”，
That's different.
那是不一樣的。
Maybe she sold you something for a really high price.
也許她賣給你的東西價格真的很高。
Or maybe she sold you something that was fake.
或者她賣給你的東西是假的。
So, "cheat on" is really different from "cheat".
所以，“出軌”跟“被騙”真的不一樣。

Okay, and our next phrase – mess up.
好了，我們的下一個短語 —— mess up。

2. mess up 搞砸了
dialogue里面用的是“mess”的過去分詞形式“messed”, 同時“mess”的過去式也是“messed”。(mess-messed-messed)

Okay, let's listen to some examples of how it's used.
好的，我們來聽幾個它如何使用的例子。

例1:
I messed up the entire project.
我搞砸了整個項目。
例2:
When I'm cooking I always mess up and burn the rice.
我做飯的時候總是把飯弄糊了。

So, let's move to our third phrase - Everything is going to work out just fine.
那么，我們現(xiàn)在來看第三個短語 —— Everything is going to work out just fine.

3. Everything is going to work out just fine.
一切都會很順利的。
It means it's going to be okay.
意思就是會沒事的。
The problem will be solved.
問題會解決的。
So, if somebody's worried or somebody is crying, you can say "Oh, don't worry, everything is going to work out just fine."
如果有人擔心或者有人在哭你可以說“哦，別擔心，一切都會很好的。”

Okay, what is our next phrase?
好的，我們下一個短語是什么呢？

4. Pull yourself together. 振作起來。
So, what does that mean, exactly?
那是什么意思呢？
It just means stop crying, relax, and you know, take a deep breath.
意味著停止哭泣，放松，你知道，深呼吸。
Just like calm down and get organized.
只是冷靜下來，要有條理。

在dialogue里面，Ronica的朋友對她說“Pull yourself together.”，振作起來。我們可以把這個表達用在勸自己的朋友的時候，那其實她的朋友還可以這樣來說:
I hope she pulls herself together soon.
我希望她盡快振作起來。

Alright, and the last phrase that we saw – It's going to be alright.
好了，我們最后的短語 —— It's going to be alright.

5. It's going to be alright. 一切都會好起來的。

So, it's going to be alright means everything is going to be okay.
所以，一切都會好起來的意思是一切都會順利。
It's going to be fine. The problem will go away.
一切都會好起來的。問題會消失的。

These are really helpful phrases that you can use when you wanna say something nice to a friend or a colleague, who has a problem.
這些是非常有用的短語，當你想對有問題的朋友或同事說些好話時，你就可以使用這些短語。
So, let's listen to some more examples.
那么，讓我們來聽更多的例子。

例1:
Don't worry, everything is going to work out just fine. I'm sure he still loves you.
別擔心，一切都會很順利的，我相信他仍然愛你。
例2:
Everything is going be alright. We'll find your puppy. Don't worry!
一切都會好起來的，我們會找到你的小狗，別擔心！
