1.     a/an

a+輔音音素開頭的單詞

   eg: a university, aEuropean girl, a uniform , a useful book

an+元音音素開頭的單詞

  eg：an hour, an honor(榮耀), an honest man, an elephant, anisland , an umbrella

an 'f, l , m , n, h, s, x ’ ,eg: There is an 'f’ in the word 'uniform’.

2.    able  adj.能夠，可以，會；有能力的，有才干的

    be able to do sth.=can do sth. 會做某事，能夠做某事

  eg: I am able to drive.=I can drive.

    be able to 有過去時，現(xiàn)在時，將來時，

can 有過去時could ,一般現(xiàn)在時

3.    about  prep.關(guān)于；在……周圍

         adv.大約；到處，

         adj.即將的，正要的

    be about to dosth.將要做某事

    How/What about (doing)sth.做某事怎么樣？

4.    above prep.在……上面；（數(shù)量等）超過反義詞 below 在……下面

         adj.上面的

         adv.在上面，在前面

5.    accept v. （主動的）接受，同意；承認；采納

     receive v.（被動的）接收

  eg: I received a gift from myfriend yesterday, but I didn’t accept it.

6.    accident cn.事故 an accident

     by accident=by chance偶然地，意外地

     withoutaccident 安全地，無恙地

     trafficaccident 交通事故

7.    across prep. （表面上）橫過，穿過 through(內(nèi)部)穿過

      adv.穿過；在對面

    go across(prep.) =cross(v.) +the road/street/water/grassland/desert

go through+ the forest/window/hole/city/country/park/gate/tunnel(隧道)

    與can ,could, be able to 連用

  Eg: I couldn’t afford a house when I was a little boy.

    be afraid to do sth.不敢做某事

    be afraid of (doing) sth.害怕出現(xiàn)某種后果，擔心發(fā)生某事

  eg: I’m afraidto climb the tree, because I’m afraid of falling down from it.

15.  after adv.在后；后來

     prep.（時間）在……之后反義詞before在……之前

     conj.在……以后

    after+段時間，常用于一般過去時，也可以與將來時某時間點連用

    in+段時間，表將來時，“一段時間后”

    again and again 再三地，反復(fù)地

17.  against prep.反對，違背；倚，靠；以……為背景

    be against sth.反對某事反義詞 be for sth.贊成某事
