Mother’s Day is a day that we express our sincere thanks to our mother. It first started from ancient Greek, then the Americans decided that the second Sunday of May is Mother’s Day.

On this special day, the mothers will receive presents from their children. The gifts could be anything. It is a way that the children show their love and care to their mothers.

As students, we don’t have too much money to buy expensive gifts for our mothers, but it doesn’t mean that we can’t do anything to express our thanks to them. We can do something，too.

I have a few suggestions. For example, you can make a breakfast for your mother, or make a card for her. You can also do some cleaning to reduce mother’s pressure.

We can use our lucky money to buy a single carnation. What’s more, we can turn to fathers for help, I think our fathers will be willing to give us some help about what to do on Mother’s Day.

The chief thing to remember is that Mother’s Day is aimed to spend more time with our mother, and appreciate what she has done for the whole family.

I think every mother is great, and everybody should do something to let our mothers know that we love her.

母親節(jié)是我們向母親表達(dá)真誠謝意的節(jié)日。母親節(jié)最早起源于古希臘，隨后美國人將5月的第二個(gè)星期天定為母親節(jié)。

在這個(gè)特別的日子，母親會(huì)收到孩子們的禮物——禮物可以送任何東西。這是孩子們向母親表達(dá)自己的愛與關(guān)心的日子。

作為學(xué)生，我們沒有太多的錢去買很貴重的禮物。但這并不意味著我們不能為自己的媽媽做些什么來表達(dá)我們的謝意。我們確實(shí)有事情可做。

我有些建議。例如說，為自己的媽媽做一份早餐，或者為她做一張卡片。也可以幫助媽媽做一些家務(wù)，減輕她的負(fù)擔(dān)。

我們還可以用自己的壓歲錢買一支康乃馨。此外，我們可以向自己的爸爸求助。我相信在母親節(jié)，爸爸們會(huì)很樂意伸出援手的。

最需要銘記的是母親節(jié)的目的在于花更多的時(shí)間來陪伴母親，對她為這個(gè)家所做出的一切表示感激。我認(rèn)為每個(gè)媽媽都很棒，每個(gè)人都應(yīng)該做些什么來讓自己的母親知道我們愛她。

The day before Mother’s Day, everybody around me was talking about what gifts they would buy to their beloved mothers. Buying flowers is what most students will do, others buy chocolates.

While for me, I want to do something different, as I live in school and can’t go back home on Mother’s Day, I decide to make a call to her, sending her my warmest wishes.

I am so nervous now and have no idea what to say. I search the Internet for some suggestions. It is very useful for me. Many wonderful words are presented in front of my eyes. I read them one by one.

As I decide to copy these words, suddenly I feel there is no meaning for saying someone else’s words. So I give up, I will tell my mother that I love her and thank her for the things she has done for me.

在母親節(jié)的前一天，我周圍的每個(gè)人都在談?wù)撡I什么禮物給自己心愛的母親。買花是大多數(shù)學(xué)生會(huì)做的事情，另外一些人買巧克力。但我想做些點(diǎn)不一樣的事情。

因?yàn)槲易≡趯W(xué)校，不能在母親節(jié)那天回家，我決定給她打個(gè)電話送上我最溫暖的祝福。我現(xiàn)在很緊張，不知道說什么好。

我在網(wǎng)絡(luò)上搜索了一些建議，這對我來說是非常有用的，許多美妙的詞呈現(xiàn)在我眼前。我一個(gè)接一個(gè)地看完了。

當(dāng)我決定復(fù)制這些話的時(shí)候，我突然覺得說別人的話沒有意義。所以我放棄了，我會(huì)告訴我的媽媽，我愛她，謝謝她為我所做的事情！

In the early morning, my sister went out and brought home a bunch of pretty flowers. Right after my mother got up out of bed, we said 'Happy Mother's ! ' to her and gave her the flowers. My mother was very happy; she smiled and said,'How wonderful the flowers look! Thank you!”

Also, we told her we were going to do all the housework for our beloved mother, and she could take a rest for a day. In the beginning, we were excited about all the work we can do at home. Before long, we found that the housework seemed to be endless. There was cooking and washing, and cleaning to do, and there was shopping to do, too. 　　

During the dinner hour, the kitchen seemed so busy. My father was making a salad. My sister was baking a pie for dessert, and I was washing rice and vegetables. There were still many other things to do. Finally, the dinner was ready; it was two hours behind the usual schedule. The food was not as delicious as my mother's. 　　

Nevertheless, my mother and father enjoyed it, and felt very proud of their daughter and son.

清晨，姐姐出去買了一束漂亮的花回家。媽媽一起床，我們就對她說“母親節(jié)快樂!”，并把花送給了她。媽媽非常高興，她笑著說:“這些花多么好看啊!謝謝你們!”

此外，我們告訴她，我們要為我們親愛的媽媽做所有的家務(wù)，她可以休息一天。剛開始的時(shí)候，我們對能在家里做的所有工作都很興奮。不久，我們發(fā)現(xiàn)家務(wù)活似乎沒完沒了，有做飯，有洗衣，有打掃，還有購物。

在晚餐時(shí)間，廚房似乎很忙。我父親正在做沙拉，姐姐在烤餡餅當(dāng)甜點(diǎn)，我在淘米洗菜。還有許多其他的事情要做。最后，晚餐準(zhǔn)備好了，比平常的時(shí)間晚了兩個(gè)小時(shí)，飯菜沒有我媽媽做的好吃。

盡管如此，我的父母還是很喜歡這頓飯，并為他們的女兒和兒子感到驕傲。

Dear Mum,

Such is sons’ nature; I really do not know how to express my thanks to you.

However, I can imagine, on the day 18 years ago, when you gave birth to me, what a complex feeling you had.

In the past few years, every day you struggle me up in the morning and prepare breakfast for me, then in the afternoon, you always welcome your only son with delicious foods after a day’s hard work.

Now your son has been 18 and will go to university soon, like a bird is leaving its parents. Nevertheless, your footprints on my heart will never ever fade and I love you mum!

然而，我可以想象，在18年前的那一天，當(dāng)你生下我的時(shí)候，你有多么復(fù)雜的感覺。

在過去的幾年里，每天早上你都會(huì)掙扎著起床為我準(zhǔn)備早餐，然后在下午，在一天的辛苦工作后，你總是用美味的食物迎接你唯一的兒子。

What a beautiful day for Mother's Day. On this day, people in all countries of the world offer their mothers the most sincere blessing. This day is a holiday for all mothers on earth. On this day, we bless our great mother together.

It's a fleeting moment, and it's more than a dozen years of life. In those years, there are always one pair who are no longer young but always silently watching your eyes behind them.

However, I sometimes do not understand my mother and leave her alone. In high school, I had to run three times every day in school and at home. The time for dinner every afternoon seems to be very tight. Several times I hurried home, but the meal was not done well. When I wait for meals, I keep mumbling, never thinking about my mother's feelings. So selfish all the time, I never felt a trace of guilt.

Until that Saturday, I saw my mother's hard work. After lunch, she was busy washing the dishes. Her face was dripping with sweat, and she had almost no time to sit on the bench. In the afternoon, she was busy with housework. Her anxious eyes showed concern and concern respectively. She was cooking for her daughter. For so many years, a fixed rope seemed to have kept her at home. For decades, she has been guarding this family and serving her loved ones.

My heart is shocked. How could I not feel so sorry for my mother? That night, I could not sleep, and on the second day, I made cards myself. All my regrets were expressed, and my hands were sent to my mother. After mother finished reading, we embraced together for a long time.

Thank God, we are not great, but we also have great mothers. Today, we have a blessing for our mother.

那是轉(zhuǎn)瞬即逝的瞬間，那是十幾年的生命。在那些歲月里，總有一對不再年輕的卻總是默默地注視著你的眼睛。

然而，我有時(shí)不理解我的母親，讓她獨(dú)自一人。在高中，我不得不每天在學(xué)校和家里跑三次。每天下午吃晚飯的時(shí)間似乎都很緊，有幾次我匆忙回家，但飯還沒有做好。在等待吃飯的時(shí)候，我總是咕咕噥噥地抱怨，從不考慮我母親的感受。我一直很自私，從來沒有一絲內(nèi)疚。

直到那個(gè)星期六，我才看到母親的辛勤工作。午飯后，她忙著洗碗，滿臉是汗，幾乎沒有時(shí)間坐一會(huì)兒。下午，她又忙著做家務(wù)。這么多年來，似乎有一根繩子把她困在了家里。幾十年來，她一直守護(hù)著這個(gè)家，為她所愛的人服務(wù)。

感謝上帝，我們并不偉大，但我們都有偉大的母親。今天，我們要祝福我們的母親。

不是只在母親節(jié)我才想要特別關(guān)心我的媽媽，而是一年365天，每天都是母親節(jié)。
