but 可以是并列連詞，也可以是副詞。即便是連詞也可以跟副詞 though 連用。副詞與連詞并用，語法沒有錯(cuò)誤，只是意思重復(fù)，屬于強(qiáng)調(diào)用法。又如：

但是這不會(huì)給我們帶來壓力。

This mapping is the common practice, but it is not necessary, though.

but 是并列連詞，與前句轉(zhuǎn)折。然后在 but 句中出現(xiàn)副詞 however，完全可以。這屬于強(qiáng)調(diào)“轉(zhuǎn)折意義”。
