One of the world’s mostinfluential chefs, Denmark’s Michelin-starred Rene Redzepi, has unveiled hislatest venture Restaurant 108, with interiors designed by the local duo SPACECopenhagen.

Redzepi became famousfor Noma, the restaurant he opened when he was just 25, which has been votedthe best restaurant on the planet many years in a row.

108 Restaurant (locatedat Strandgade 108), sits next to Noma, created in partnership with Noma alumnusKristian Baumann, who does the cooking. The new restaurant is cheaper and more casualbut no less exciting as a culinary and design experience.

該設(shè)計(jì)將建筑現(xiàn)有的堅(jiān)固的結(jié)構(gòu)元素與定制的家具件相結(jié)合，營(yíng)造出獨(dú)特的Scandinavian風(fēng)格。設(shè)計(jì)師解釋道：“我們想要保持原有的空間結(jié)構(gòu)和高度，用混凝土、黑色金屬創(chuàng)造的簡(jiǎn)潔線條”

The design combines thebuilding’s existing robust structural elements with bespoke furniture pieces,resulting in a distinct Scandinavian style. “We wanted to keep the strongstructural elements of the tall, light space, as well as reframe the existingbeautiful material palette of concrete, bricks and dark metals,” explain thedesigners.

SPACE Copenhagen soughtto incorporate a sense of vibrancy through control use of colour. Seafoam greenand midnight blue contrast and complement the use of plum red, referencingCopenhagen fa?ades, bricks, and roofs. “When working with the various functionsof the project, we started using these selected areas as colourful features andaccents weaving them into the naked spaces,” explains Signe Bendslev Henrikson,co-founder of SPACE Copenhagen.
