在春天一個(gè)美麗的夜晚，一只饑腸轆轆的狼出門尋找他的晚餐。他看到了一只小山羊站在陡峭的懸崖上。

“I must have that goat,” the wolf thinks to himself, “But how can I reach her?”

“我必須得到那只山羊，”狼想，“但是我怎么才能找到她呢?”

“Hello, little goat!” cries the wolf, “It’s dangerous here. I’m afraid you will fall.”

“你好，小羊！”狼喊道，“這里很危險(xiǎn)。我擔(dān)心你會(huì)掉下去?！?/p>

“Don’t be afraid,” says the goat, “I’ll not fall.”

“別擔(dān)心，”山羊說(shuō)，“我不會(huì)掉下去的?！?/p>

“Please come down here. Don’t afraid of me. I’m a good wolf. I want to play with you, and the grass here is sweet and fresh.” the wolf says.

狼說(shuō)：“請(qǐng)下來(lái)這里。不要害怕我，我是一只好狼，我想和你一起玩，這里的草又甜又新鮮?！?/p>

“Thank you,” says the goat, “I know who you are and what you want. You don’t want me to eat the grass, but you want to eat me up.”

“謝謝，”山羊說(shuō)，“我知道你是誰(shuí)，也知道你想做什么。你不是想讓我吃草，而是你想吃了我?！?/p>

Then the clever goat runs far away, and the wolf has no dinner.

然后聰明的山羊逃跑了，狼就沒(méi)有了晚餐。
