As soon as we arrived, the workers told us how these animals were collected and what they did to help them. Then we were divided into small groups and helped them clean the cages. We were given some food to feed these animals.

I learned a lot from this activity. Animals need our care and attention, so we should devote our time to taking care of them.

In the programs, you can listen to popular English songs, enjoy excellent articles, know about the latest English movies and be taught better ways of learning English with great fun. Of all the books I’ve read, I like Robinson Crusoe best, which is one of the famous British writer Daniel Defoe’s greatest works.

The main role of Daniel Defoe’s Robinson Crusoe is Robinson Crusoe, who was caught in a disaster during a boat travel. He had to swim to a lonely island and lived there for some years. There were no other people on the remote island, and there was no food for him. He fought against all kinds of natural disasters and diseases alone bravely. He tried his best to overcome all difficulties and was saved at last.

After reading the novel I am really moved by Robinson Crusoe’s spirit, which has taught me that nothing is difficult if you put your heart into it. His image will stay in people’s hearts for ever.

Dear editor,

As we all know, homework plays an important role in Chinese education. Students do homework to strengthen what they’ve learnt in class and meanwhile prepare for the new lessons.

But too much homework is really a heavy burden for Chinese students. They have little time to take physical exercise and some wear thick glasses because exercises take up most of their spare time. They also suffer punishments if work is done badly or late. After years of bad homework experiences, some of them lose interest in study and hate school life.

So I think homework is necessary, but it needs to be well designed and shouldn’t take up all the students’ spare time. Only in this way can the students find pleasure in their homework and become more interested in study.

One afternoon last week, there was a social activity organized by our school that we researched DaWenKou relic culture. We went there on foot at 3:00 PM. After we arrived there, we looked at some old temple, tools for farming and living, which made us think how hard our ancestors lived then. From what we saw, we learned the old civilization in China, and knew their contribution to the development of country.

Personally, I thanks to our ancestors, it’s because of spirit of hard working that we Chinese pass on from generation from generation makes country become stronger and stronger, so we must keep it in mind, and we must study hard so that we can do the same things to country in the future.
